ETS2 Modspot respects intellectual-property rights and responds to valid notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you are the copyright holder (or authorized to act for one) and believe content on the Site infringes your rights, you can submit a takedown notice as described below.

We do not host mod files. Where infringing material lives on a third-party site we merely link to, you may also need to contact that site's host directly. We will promptly remove or disable links to infringing material on the Site.

What to include in a takedown notice

  • Your contact information (name, email, and physical or mailing address).
  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • The exact URL(s) of the infringing material on ets2modspot.com.
  • A statement of your good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

How to submit

Use the Report > Copyright option on any mod page, or email info@ets2modspot.com with “DMCA” in the subject line. You can also mail a notice to [Website Owner Full Name], [Mailing Address, if publicly listed], South Burlington, Vermont, United States. We aim to acknowledge takedown notices within 48 hours.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe in good faith that this was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice including: your contact information and signature; identification of the removed material and its prior location; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake; and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in Vermont. We will restore the material unless the original complainant files a court action within 10–14 business days.

Repeat infringers

We may remove content and restrict or terminate access for anyone who repeatedly infringes intellectual-property rights, consistent with our Terms of Use.

Creators

If you created a mod listed here, you can also claim, edit, hide, or redirect its page — see Editorial Standards for how creator claims work.

This page is provided for general information and transparency. It is not legal advice and does not create any professional relationship.
