User-Generated Content Policy
Effective date: 2026-05-28·Last updated: 2026-05-28
This policy covers content you submit to ETS2 Modspot — reviews, shared load orders, and reports (“User Content”). It works together with our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines. Visitors cannot upload mod files or images here; the screenshots shown on the Site are sourced from the public World of Trucks gallery.
What counts as User Content
- Reviews — a star rating and text about a mod, shown publicly under your profile display name after moderation.
- Shared load orders — a title, game version, and the list of mods you choose to share, with a public share link.
- Reports — a report type and optional message flagging a problem with a mod page.
Your responsibilities
By submitting User Content, you confirm that:
- It is your own, or you have the right to submit it.
- It is accurate and submitted in good faith (especially reviews and reports).
- It does not infringe anyone's intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights.
- It is not unlawful, deceptive, harassing, hateful, or spam, and follows our Community Guidelines.
License you grant us
You keep ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant [Website Owner Full Name] a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content on and in connection with the Site, for as long as you keep it posted (and for a reasonable period afterward in backups). You can remove your content at any time, as described below.
Moderation and removal
Reviews are reviewed before they appear publicly. We may edit, refuse, or remove any User Content, and may restrict accounts, at our discretion — for example for spam, abuse, inaccuracy, or copyright complaints. We are not obligated to publish or keep any submission. We are not responsible for User Content submitted by others; opinions expressed in reviews are those of their authors.
Removing your content
You can delete your reviews and shared load orders where the option is provided, or ask us to remove specific content. To delete your account and associated content entirely, use our Data Deletion Request page.
Copyright complaints
If you believe User Content infringes your copyright, follow the process in our DMCA & Copyright Policy.
