Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

This page describes your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA/CPRA”), and how ETS2 Modspot handles requests to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. While these rights are defined under California law, we extend the same choices to all visitors.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the past 12 months. There is therefore nothing to opt out of for advertising purposes — but you can still exercise the rights below.

What “sell” and “share” mean

Under the CCPA/CPRA, “sell” means disclosing personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration, and “share” means disclosing it for cross-context behavioral advertising. ETS2 Modspot does neither. We do not run advertising on the Site and we do not use affiliate links.

Information we collect

We collect a limited set of personal information, described in full in our Privacy Policy. In CCPA categories this is mainly:

Identifiers — a salted, irreversible hash of your IP address (we do not store the raw address) and, if you connect a World of Trucks account, your profile display name and avatar.
Internet/network activity — pages viewed, referrer, download and outbound clicks, and a truncated user-agent.
User content — reviews, shared load orders, and reports you choose to submit.

We use this information only for the operational purposes listed in the Privacy Policy — never to sell or to serve targeted advertising.

Your California rights

Right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it.
Right to delete personal information we hold about you.
Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (already honored — we do neither).
Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect sensitive personal information for such uses).
Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

How to submit a request

To exercise any right above, email info@ets2modspot.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and tell us which right you want to exercise. To delete your account and data specifically, you can also use our Data Deletion Request page. We will respond within 30 days and may need to verify your request to protect your information.

Authorized agents

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may ask the agent for proof of authorization and may ask you to verify your identity directly.
